progress?

Knee has been feeling a little better, and although I've been swimming rather regularly, I haven't been quantifying it in any way. I still feel stiff and clumsy sometimes, and there's the occasional unexpected horrible crack.

I suspect a misaligned kneecap - the clicking when I bend and straighten sounds like a sublaxation. It sounds like I have atraumatic instability (though I have banged my knee a few times, it wasn't very hard.
Patellar instability is more commen in women than in men, and is made worse, of course, by impact sports.
It's also made worse by having "loose joints", which sounds like my childhood problem.

The joint has been popping less, it feels like, but again, I haven't quantified it.
Also, sometimes it feels like it will be about to pop, but it will stop. I think this is a good sign.

Today's workout:
Swimming.
10 laps of kickboard kicking (there and back is one lap.)
4 laps of breaststroke
5 minutes of continuously treading water
7 x 7 + 1 = 50 pool dips
Two times "power-walking" in the shallow end
Pilates and isometric based cool-down and stretch out.
